The fact the there was a 24/7 reception staffed by human beings, who were all pleasant, smiley and couldn't do enough for you. The central location near bars, restaurants and cafes.
The trade off for the great location is that there was a nightclub nearby that played loud music till 4am. Fortunately reception had earplugs available. I advise you to get them if you stay there, unless of course you are at the nightclub!

Allocated apartment was a short walk from the main reception building. Apartment was spacious and close to amenities and not affected by the busy and noisy night life.
Can access bus and train connections 15 mins from the apartment.
The receptionist who assisted us was helpful.
Door to the apartment building had problems with a fiddly door lock and unlocking system. One of the days the entrance to the building was smelling awful due to the bins storage near the lift.
Our apartment did not have a dishwasher, or ironing board. The hair dryer did not work well.

The location of the aparthotel is definitely its biggest advantage. It is very central and strategically located, making it easy to explore many of the city's main attractions on foot. The neighbourhood is lively, with plenty of restaurants, bars and nightlife. We stayed in October and, with the windows closed, the outside noise was not much of an issue for us.
The breakfast was average at best. The cappuccino and latte macchiato from the coffee machine were really poor, and the machine itself did not seem to work properly.
For anyone with coeliac disease, I would strongly advise against staying here. The gluten-free options are extremely limited. You are offered just two little gluten-free bread rolls, which are served unpackaged, meaning there is a potential risk of cross-contamination. There are no other suitable alternatives. Even the cold cuts are not safe due to the risk of cross-contamination, and the hotel does not seem willing to take the necessary precautions to accommodate guests with coeliac disease. The lady serving breakfast opened a fresh jar of jam in front of me so that I could have some without worrying about cross-contamination. This was the only real effort made to accommodate my dietary needs.
Another unpleasant experience occurred one morning at around 6:30 am. While we were still asleep in our apartment, the cleaning lady was mopping the floor in the corridor outside our room while having a very loud phone conversation on speakerphone. We were woken up by the noise. We approached her and politely tried to explain, in English and with gestures, that we were still sleeping and asked her to keep her voice down. She simply ignored us and continued talking loudly and cleaning. We found this behaviour extremely disrespectful.
The shower gel provided was not sufficient until the last day of a three-day stay for two adults and two children, even though we did not use excessive amounts. Housekeeping came to the apartment once during our stay, but only briefly made the beds (by the way a bed sheet was dirty when we arrived) and emptied the bin. The shower gel was not replenished.
One more thing worth mentioning is the unpleasant smell in the ground-floor entrance area of the building where the apartments are located. There was a really strong and disgusting smell every time we entered the building.
