Great location
The lighting in the rooms was a bit dull

The location and facilities were great.
Two building sites each side, though you can’t help that.
The room was tidy but as our stay was a week I had to keep going down for additional item, coffee/tea/toilet paper. The toilet seat was loose, the bbq didn’t work.

The location. Close to shopping, restaurants, pacific fair and tram.
We did not find the staff friendly, we had a fire alarm go off and although we went outside most others did not staff did not seem to have an evacuation plan in place. Thank god it was a sensor issue. Our room had cockroaches in the kitchen when I brought it up with the staff they didn’t seem bother until I said that I wanted something done about it. I have been coming to the GC for many years and this is the first time I have had to deal with cockroaches in the accommodation. Every night we would have black spot on the kitchen counter top. See photo. It took us some time to find the light switch in the bedroom as it was hidden in the cupboard as was the fan switch in the lounge.
