We had a lovely long weekend at Palm Beach Resort in Pranburi. It’s a charming, family-run hotel right on the beachfront. The beach itself isn’t really a swimming beach, but the sea is literally right outside, and the setting is peaceful and relaxing.
If you’re driving, just follow the Google Maps pin. It takes you right to the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with the upstairs rooms having a particularly nice balcony. Breakfast is also very good.
One thing worth knowing about Palm Beach is that, despite the name “Resort,” this is not the kind of resort with endless activities, loud music, water slides, swim-up bars, and entertainment going all day. And that’s exactly what we liked about it. It’s a quiet hotel for a quiet, relaxing beach getaway.
We had a car, so it was easy to drive to nearby restaurants, beach bars, and the beach for swimming. If you don’t have a car, the hotel has a few bicycles available for guests, and there’s a bike path along the beach that makes getting around quite easy.
The proprietor, Cherry, is wonderful. She speaks perfect English and is warm, welcoming, and full of recommendations for things to do, places to eat, and places to have a drink or enjoy some entertainment. She’s around the hotel and is incredibly friendly and helpful.
Palm Beach Resort is ideal if you’re looking for some peace and quiet by the beach. If you’re looking for a resort that will entertain you nonstop, with lots of noise and activities, there are other places in the area that would be a better fit.
But if you want a quiet, cool place for a quiet and relaxing getaway, Palm Beach is an excellent choice. We loved our stay and would happily return.

Upon arrival, the staff was very kind and helpful. The Resort is right on the beach with nice sea views and breezes. The bed was comfortable and slept well. Breakfast was included and basic but met the needs as they were happy to cook eggs, bacon and sausage as requested. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful and had a small pool. I like the room's balcony as it was a pleasant place sit in the early AM and evening.
The room was comfortable and while the air conditioning wasn’t very strong, it was positioned well over the bed and worked fine for a good night’s sleep.
