Dos noches por la hostería

El alojamiento es lindo, muy cálido, tiene unos ventanales grandes con vistas a la laguna súper linda. Tiene mucha madera, piedra y plantas que le dan un toque especial. La habitación era cómoda para dos noches.

great stay for a few days

The view was amazing from this place in the common area. Located right in the downtown area. Staff were super friendly and made us coffee when it was pouring rain. Also able to get breakfast a touch earlier given we had an early bus. The room had a tv with Netflix login so could watch at your leisure

Our room door handle was falling off making it difficult to close. The shower didn’t drain so standing in a few inches of water. Also the place was very clean but the smell was too much (a lot of fabric softener was used and it needed to be aired out)

a good stay, maybe I’m a bit picky,

the location was good. my view from my room was ridiculous, spectacular view of the harbor. the coffee was really good. The staff was always there to assist, very nice people.

I hate to say bad things, but this was really irritating. the water was only got for a few minutes then would turn luke warm. this isn’t a particularly warm destination, so all I wanted was a Hot shower. I had to turn the water off to do all my tasks (shave legs etc) so that I would not freeze to death. After a long run I’m the mountains, being all muddy and wet and cold, would have loved a complete hot shower. breakfast was nice, as I stated the coffee was great, not the rest of breakfast was bread. there were 8-10 kinds of bread/pastries/donuts. there was one plate of meat and cheese and a bowl of fruit. I mean, I get it, but I was so sick of bread. boiled eggs or some additional type of food that was not bread. again, not trying to be negative, it was just (in my opinion) kind of expensive for bread and cold showers. oh and there was some kind of cat hair or something all over my room, not sure what it was, but it got all over my clothes and made me look like a slob.

very good value for a backpacker looking for a place to stay before or after an Antarctica expedition

Very friendly staff. They didn’t speak much English, and I don’t speak much Spanish, but we found a way to communicate. They were very helpful calling taxis to pick me up from the property and with finding places for me to exchange my money in Argentinian pesos.

it was nice

People who work here really take care of us. the place is warm and cozy. The room is clean and also has a good bathroom. we were happy that chooses this hosteria.

Comfortable and Cozy stay !!

The Hosteria Kupanaka was a very comfortable place to stay with a nice breakfast. The rooms were spacious and warm. The bathroom/toilets are decent. The host is very helpful and he also helped us organize the tours.

Nothing everything was perfect.

-Super nice staff -Decent breakfast -Cute interior -Wifi was ok by Ushuaia standards (although there are cafes with better internet you can go to anyway)

We stayed in the attic 4-bed room. -dirty carpet -precarious stairs, especially if you're tall -a bit overpriced for the quality of the place

Exceptional

Best Value. New bedding and towels. Comfy. Bed and pillows. Good size bathroom. We were 3 Canadians; parents travelling with our teen son and we just needed a 1 night stay,; arriving late 11pm and when we brought in take out food they graciously set a table for us. All 3 staff were great. And the next day we ended up hanging out there for a few hours in the afternoon and the view was amazing.

Bad experience

Location was okay, close to downtown area

- The property was falling apart, they have to do some maintenance (like knobs falling from showers, showerhead spraying in all directions, door not staying closed unless locked, window rattling in wind) - asked them to get some laundry done, they gave us the clothes back the next day still dirty, they simply forgot, this is not acceptable since we had to wash a few by hand now - breakfast was awful, the only good thing was when they had croissants - very uncomfortable spring mattress A really bad overall experience, wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Fair value for Ushuaia but needs improvement

Very clean Staff was friendly and helpful but with limited English Fair value, as lodging In Ushuaia is expensive

Breakfast was primarily sweets and carbohydrates; no fruit salad or yogurt; cheese and ham but no eggs; coffee was not good ( think Folgers) Double bedroom downstairs was very small, with very limited space to put personal belongings and no hooks Bed was not comfortable

Their exchange rate is not matching to actual exchange rate, so we end up paying slightly more. I prefer to pay over booking.com
