Nautica Hotel Apartments

Wonderful accommodation with a pool and sea view situated approximately halfway between Heraklion and Chania airports (1 hr 15 min drive subject to traffic conditions). The pool and apartments are very well maintained and there is free parking on site. Whilst we didn't have breakfast there, a few of our party did and found it very good. The owner of the hotel is absolutely amazing and couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was excellent. There is also a gym and table tennis table, toilets by the pool, and the owner gave plenty of useful information for places to visit during our stay. The rooms have free WiFi, and there is a card in each of the rooms with the WiFi code and recommended places to eat. A supermarket, coffee shop, restaurants, and other amenities are a short walk from the apartments. Plenty of wonderful places and villages to visit nearby - a car is ideally needed if you want to get out and about - there are bus stops along the road but we didn't use public transport, or taxis can be arranged. Although remote, it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of larger towns with a cab to Rethymno only a short drive for approximately 20 Euros. The apartments have their own beach area with sun loungers, accessible from the pool area. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful owners for the care and attention they gave during our stay!

We visited during the storm so the weather wasn't great at all! but there's nothing that anybody could have done about that! ;) These apartments are a little more 'remote' than some, but this makes for a very enjoyable and quiet stay! There are also lots of roadworks on the main road between Heraklion and Chania which can make driving a challenge!

Perfect location, spacious apartment, great breakfast and friendly staff.

Nothing to dislike here

We stayed overnight as a quick stopover and we liked that the staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The room was a suite with kitchenette and separate lounge room. It was a shame that the weather was cold otherwise the pool looked nice and the easy access to the beach.

The lady who greeted us was wonderful, she helped us a lot. The pool was great and it was close to a small beach.

We were travelling with 5 of us (3 adults and 2 kids aged 15 and 12). The room was meant to have two bedrooms and it only had one with my daughter (21) and my other daughters staying in the living room. The beds were tiny (like folding beds for small kids). We only stayed one night, as this was not a good set up.
