A very clean and functional room. The bed was comfortable and the window had a mosquito net. All of the staff members were super nice.
The location isn't great, my room seemed to be above a nightclub/brothel which had loud music every night until the early morning. There are beggars around which approached me multiple times, although this is a problem of the city center, not specific to the hotel location.

Marcelo, at reception was great. He was helpful from the beginning till the end of my two night stay. Really good crisp and clean bed linen. A warm room, after Marcelo helped me with the control settings. Quiet environment so good sleep. Easy walking distance to old town attractions.
The shower is problematical. A narrow space is manageable but to get the desired mix of hot and cold is practically impossible. I wasted water trying to get the right mix! And once ‘discovered’ the flow of water from the shower head is very narrow. Not the best.

Location is exceptional. Kind staff. There is a breakfast.
No windows in the room. Flies in the bathroom. Only a single socket in the room to recharge devices' batteries (laptop & cell phones).
