As always the location and simply how wonderfully beautiful and unique the hotel is. Also the little
Package for my dog and the fact that you now take dogs in those rooms has just about made all

If I’m being really picky - and I only say this as I think it probably needs fixing - not a criticism- we stayed in the room Turquesa in the new bit and the air conditioning was clearly old and it was really really noisy. Very unlike the Califa group to have any sort of snag like that so figured it was just an oversight.

Dreamy hotel. Beautiful historic building. It was a privilege to be able to stay there. El Jardin del Califa is a lovely restaurant and the breakfast was good.
We stayed during fiesta time in August and the fiesta was happening right outside our room! The hotel let us know about the fiesta a week before our stay. The live music was extremely loud until 4am in the morning. On the first night, it was quite exhausting for our children. On the second day we had a long siesta and joined the party :-)
As it was fiesta time, parking was difficult. We found parking about 5 minutes walk away.

Beautiful property, the gorgeous rooftop overlooking the town square is the perfect place to have a morning coffee watching the sunrise. Lovely friendly staff& great restaurant.

The location was excellent
The rooms and the apartment was damp and you could feel this in the room and in the beds. We would have expected that the heat would have been on in the room well in advance of anyone staying there.
