GOOD VALUE

comparing prices, the value was ok compared to other local apartments. It was clean, roomy, large tv, main bed was ok, lounge was comfortable, kitchen was I'd say recently renovated and was good. Bathroom had a shower over the bath. Second bed had two singles. Complex was three blocks surrounding the pool with 4 apartments in each with some having permanents. Sound proofing seemed good with no noise heard during stay. Situated the southern side of the town which would be a bit of a walk from the main shopping area.

Paint in bathroom showed condensation issues, car park a bit of a walk when carrying bags. No water views except pool. Not in the best part of the town but there is a good beach not far away. If I stayed in Merimbula again I probably would look at something more central and with water views because the area is very pretty, but it would depend on what you are happy to pay.

Enjoyed our stay because mainly of its locality.

We thoroughly enjoyed the location because we were able to walk to the beach; walk into town and we felt quite comfortable and the folk staying in the other apartments were friendly and quiet.

Maybe some modernising of the bathroom and toilet would be beneficial.

Little over priced for a hotel that request you clean before leaving & a hotel that could do with some upgrading.

Great place to stay. Recommend it and will stay there again if in the area.

Unit was within walking distance from the surf beach. Hot water was amazing. Unit was very well equipped. Great TV with Netflix. Bed and lounge furniture very comfortable.

Being an older couple we would have preferred a walk in shower. Or at least a handle in the over the bath shower. All else was OK.

Superb

The managers were great, the apartment was clean, the kitchen was very well appointed.

The hot water is on off peak, the previous guests might have had a late checkout and the hot water didn't have time to heat up. It was very disappointing to have been travelling all day and couldn't have a hot shower before bed. We had no hot water until 6am the following morrning.

A spacious unit and was great value for money

Location was excellent , being adjacent to the beach and few minutes drive into the centre of Merimbula. It was quiet and well appointed. The caretaker resides on site and was most friendly and helpful

would have liked a bit more privacy from other guests- a sheer curtain or blinds would be great.

We enjoyed our stay at the Peninsula Heather and Jamie are excellent hosts.

Location is good depending on what you want to do. Perfect for a stroll along the beach. A short walk to the main street. Had to drive if we wanted to go to clubs or restaurants.

Small shower over the bathtub (hard for a big person). Roll up/down blinds clunking in the breeze, not good for sleeping.
