This was my second stay here, and once again, I had a pleasant experience. The property is in a peaceful and environment-friendly location in Defence Colony, with Lajpat Nagar and Defence Market nearby. The metro station is also conveniently accessible, which makes getting around quite easy.
The overall stay was comfortable, and everything was well managed
The only area I would suggest improving is the breakfast, as the food options are somewhat limited. Apart from that, everything was good, and I would be happy to visit again.

I arrived early from the airport and was welcomed with delicious breakfast and chai. Dining and lounge area are tastefully decorated, and a great place to meet other travellers. Love the colonial architecture and style. Quiet location, within walking distance to metro. My room was spotless, cool and comfortable, a real haven from the monsoon weather and madness of Delhi.

The room was large. The hotel was close to a metro station.
We felt that we didn't stay in the hotel we booked and were placed in an overflow building across the road. The room we were given did not resemble the photos on Booking.com e.g. there were no pictures on the wall, it had generic and corporate looking hotel furnishings and no personnel or security on site. The complimentary water bottles were half empty.
High tea was pretty pathetic with a few biscuits and a virtually finished cake.
As we were leaving early, we were given a packed up breakfast which was a token effort with a pathetic cheese sandwich, a few scraps of banana bread and a carton of juice.
Bearing in mind that this the most expensive hotel we stayed in over our month long tour of India, it was also the most lacking in service, character and value.
