Villa Walir was an amazing find in Marianske Lanze. It is located close to the main train station but also a short walk from the main Kolonade and other attractions such as the Singing Fountain. The hostess is very welcoming and helpful with local recommendations for attractions and restaurants. The apartment we stayed in was well equipped with everything required for a comfortable stay and there were added unexpected items provided such as toiletries and bottled water.

Gutes Frühstück, nettes kleines Hotelchen.
Freitag 14 h angekommen, da war es schon zu spät, eine Anwendung ( Massage) für Freitag oder Samstag zu buchen. Wer darauf Wert legt, sollte sich im Vorfeld darum kümmern.

Het hotel lag in een rustige wijk. De kamer (101) was groot. Niet heel modern, maar alles was heel schoon. Het ontbijt was prima. Geen luxe, maar het zag er verzorgd uit. Parkeren achter het pand was fijn. Onze fietsen mochten veilig opladen in de schuur. De massage die we boekten, was goed.
De ontvangst was rommelig door een dame die geen Engels sprak. Onze kamer (101) lag op de begane grond waardoor we veel overlast hadden van de voordeur en achterdeur die telkens met een harde klap dichtvielen. Het ontbijt was van 8.00-9.30 uur, dus uitslapen is geen optie. Wij vonden het storend dat het personeel uitgebreid overleg had (beide ochtenden) aan de grote tafel in het midden van de ontbijtruimte. Tegelijkertijd staat er een reusachtige televisie aan met geluid. Rustig ontbijten is onmogelijk.
