Olive Bay Hotel

We had such a lovely stay at Olive Bay! From the very beginning, we felt genuinely welcome and looked after. Amalia is an absolutely wonderful host - warm, friendly and always there if you need anything. She really cares about her guests and is always happy to help, whether it’s with something in the room or simply with a good local tip. It made our stay feel very personal and special. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and on one of the higher floors - and the view was just incredible. Waking up and looking out at the sea every morning was something we never got tired of. The balcony quickly became one of our favourite places to sit and enjoy the view. The room had everything we needed: air conditioning, a small kitchenette and a fridge. You can also ask for beach towels, which is a really nice touch. There’s free parking just behind the hotel, so having a car was very easy and convenient. We also loved that there are a couple of small beaches just a few minutes’ walk away. It was so nice to simply grab a towel, walk down and go for a swim in the beautiful clear water. Olive Bay has that lovely feeling of a small, welcoming place where you’re treated as a guest rather than just a room number. We felt very comfortable here and would happily come back. We stayed here for 6 nights in July and it was just perfect. This boutique hotel is very well situated (a few steps away from a small, intimate beach), the rooms are spacious and bright, and the view from the balcony is spectacular. The room was cleaned daily, and the towels were changed every 2 days. Agia Efimia is a charming small village, it has lots of good restaurants and at the same time is very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended!

The bathroom is rather small, but that didn’t bother us.

This hotel is so romantic and cosy and spotless! Looks exactly like on the pictures. Super friendly owners ready to answer all questions. We stayed in a sea view room, the little balcony with the flowers, the sea in front of you overlooking the little bay where you can go to a swim in the crystal clear water - perfect vacation spot, easy to access the rest of the island as well. The apartment basically has everything, AC, appliances even to cook, coffee machine to enjoy coffee in the morning, little fridge for storing food, however there are plenty of restaurants walking distance that you can enjoy. Cleaning daily! I wholeheartedly recommend this little gem of a hotel, you won't regret staying there.

Parking can be challenging if the parking place is full / mainly due to people are not parking particularly well (which is not the hotel's problem). What could help is clean/even the parking place for easier access. Also, if someone is a light sleeper, morning hours can be a bit noisy - but nothing an earplug won't fix. It was not an issue for us.

What a beautiful family run property. We were able to check in early which we were very grateful for and understand it is not always possible. The room itself was clean, spacious and with an amazing view! Bed was so comfy and the shower had great water pressure! Air con worked perfectly and withstood the European summer days! Property was steps away from the water for an early morning swim and restaurants all close by! It was absolutely perfect!
