Located at the northern end of the village, designed to blend in, beach access for long walks along the shore. Excellent restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff.
We booked the entry level courtyard view room. It is a bit cramped by South African standards. And whoever designed the bathroom deserves an Ignoble medal. To have the open shower in the doorway to the bathroom is the height of stupidity: a wet floor that you have to cross as the only way to basin and loo. A persistently blocked loo (water pushing up to the brim on each flush, but at least not overflowing onto the floor) got attention multiple times but was never solved.

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The setting is superb.
Breakfast and dinner were good. Facilities great.
The two fireplaces in the restaurant made it a cosy place to visit in winter
I thought that the wine was rather expensive at dinner.

I highly recommend this hotel! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lovely facilities and food too. Be sure to make your preferences known to the staff at the restaurant, and they will do their best to accommodate your desires.
