They have the friendliest staff. The rooms are amazing and the property is beautiful. We wish we stayed longer in area so we could stay longer in this hotel.

The staff were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful. We had a packed breakfast as we had an early tour. Nothing was too much trouble.
It felt like we were the only people in the hotel so breakfast was empty and there were far more staff than guests so it felt like we were keeping them from doing something by having dinner or a drink in the bar. It was low season, so we knew it would not be busy.

It was a short distance from Pub Street, a precinct I hadn’t even heard of, and I’m so glad it was. A short tuk tuk ride for USD$3 can get you to the hustle and bustle. The rooms were clean, the staff spoke good English, the breakfast was lovely and the pool was magnificent!!! After a morning in the sun and heat it was refreshing to lounge in the pool. As the hotel was not resort style in size you could have a nice quiet conversation with other guests in the pool or just recline on the sun lounges if that wasn’t your thing. Getting your laundry done is super cheap!!
I didn’t feel particularly safe if I wanted to walk down the street as it is not well lit at all, but that is not the hotel’s issue
