Have stayed at Teja Home stay twice now and the host family has always been very sweet and welcoming. Cleaning staff do a very good job as well!

ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESSLY CLEAN , no bugs , no mosquitos, the owners take great care of the place … quiet and lovely to stay around à Balinese beautuful family , great location … it seriously is a hidden gem … the deluxe room is great , this my third time at Teja …. I live in bali and stay in the centre of ubud , so it’s a great price and safe and just lovely … slept so peacefully

The home is in the centre and very quiet. Modern room upstairs with a big window and comfortable beds. They have a Beo that can say some words. Breakfast was included with fresh fruit.
It is called a home stay, but we totally did not have the homestay vibe. We met the owner briefly, who was very distant. The staff we met, 2 very young men, didn't understand or speak much English. They did not have a notion what hospitaly meant, though they were not unfriendly. It was like they learned a few basic things but no flexibility.
Breakfast consisted of an omelette every day. If we would ask for a fried egg, I think panic would have broken out. On our checkout day, at 7 in the morning, we asked if we could have breakfast early. But no, he was alone, so it's not possible. Sweeping was more important.
We missed a fridge but could put some water in their fridge.
