Clean and comfortable. The breakfast, although basic, was tasty, fresh and plentiful. Staff member on reception was very helpful and patient as I arrived late after the place was locked up. I did pass a message through Booking.com months ago that I would be late arriving due to the ferry not arriving until 10 pm but I don’t think it was passed on.
Road works around the area of the hotel made locating it hard in the dark. I also don’t believe my message saying I would be arriving late was passed to reception

Location was excellent as a base. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and times for breakfast were perfect for an early get away.
Room was smaller than anticipated regarding storage space and surfaces for placing items and would have preferred twin beds as opposed to a double bed and bunk bed, but this is an issue for most French hotels of this standard and price level.
