perfect for a vacation getaway.

The resort is very lush and green. The staff is the best. everyone was so friendly and helpful. We wanted to rent a motorcycle to explore the island and they were able to help us. They were also very kind to accommodate my request to do a private dinner on our balcony for my partner’s BD, with gorgeous decorations and a baked cheesecake.

There was no internet connection in the room we stayed at. But we could come and use the wifi in the common restaurant.

Certainly one of the nicest non-luxury resorts on the island, with a beautiful sunset deck and good cuisine! Staff is helpful and kind. Diving teacher Tintin is highly experienced and very entertaining!

Rates are simply too high for the comfort level. Music (at least the bass) from the bar can be heard throughout the day on much of the property, which is unnecessary. At night there is too much light in the garden to see the stars and get the bedrooms dark, which is also not necessary. Small improvements could make this a 10/10

peaceful and perfect place for destressing and be away from the chaos of worklife.

falling of coco tree branches and fruits which is dangerous if by chance it falls directly to your head. maybe sort it out for the safety of the guests.

The place was OK. but was overpriced for what it was. The owner was hanging around in the main area and talking loudly.

The property was being sold from a German outlet to a French guy, and probably the owner wanted to get out of this business. Not a good location. you get stuck with a very overpriced restaurant. the food was very bad. The menu includes such things as “very thin pancakes.”. Ther is nothing else around this property. You need to take a cab to go to another restaurant.

no hot shower. when they gave us back our laundry it was humid and smelling smoke. When staff was not welcoming. all services were very expensive

Staff were amazing

No reception for phones only wifi at restaurant but none in rooms. No reception for phones and no tv. So if you want to use your phone only can use at Restuarant which is infested with mosquitos. No tv in rooms to watch after busy day on tour. The private beach is boulders and rocks so you can’t just walk down for a swim. None of this is mentioned on website. Location is far away so you can’t just go for a walk and jeeps and tricycles don’t come that far out after 6pm (this is what the staff told us). Luckily a staff member rang her cousin to come get us to take us into town which is 20mins away.

Its about the location not the amenities

Not clear there is ever any wifi in the restaurant. None in rooms and no mobile signal at all in this resort. This is nothing new. No aircon or other amenities but you come here for the location by the rocky beach/garden environs, thats the main draw. They also do serve dinners, rabbit is avail bred by the owners, they can also arrange some dives. Staff has been cut back so service a bit lacking but maybe that will change as more guests return. Price is creeping up to the +4000 peso level which may be a bit of a stretch in terms of value.

Staff are so friendly and accommodating to all our requests. Even the owner is so friendly he always asks how is our stay. ( The food in the restaurant is so good (a bit expensive though). They helped me in getting a motorcycle to tour the area.

No signal in the area. wifi is only available in the restaurant. there are dust or insects in the beds because of the type of the room (nipa hut)

Fell Short on Expectations

Location, ambience, friendly staff.

Food and service poor. Expensive for what you got. Quality and preperation average. Payment by credit card attracted additional 6% cost.

Not worth the money

the room was just clean that’s all.

When I booked a room for one night under booking.com, I filtered the specifications of a 1 night with 4 adults to look for a room in Camiguin. Luckily with all the specifications, 1 room fo Camiguin Volcan Beach appeared and by then all the given specifications (1 night, 4 adults) have passed for us to stay. Upon arrival, the receptionist told us that the room was only for 3 adults and can only be used not more than 3 and that we have to book another room for the extra person. If your room is only and strictly for 3 pax only, why would that room be available on the options for 4 pax on the website? Upon settlement, we asked the receptionist that we will pay for a extra bed for one and yet she did not allow us to have one because they do not allow extra beds per room upon checking on their “HOTEL POLICY” and yet we check the hotel policy online; it was never mentioned there that we cannot have an extra bed. We settled this with the receptionist for about an hour and told us that she couldn’t contact their manager because they don’t have a signal there, true enough the whole property have no phone signals (Globe and Smart). There was no sense of urgency with the receptionist on responding to our queries and we ended up leaving the place and since the payment is non refundable we were really disappointed and by this we do not want other clients to experience this. By the way, the photos online were not updated the place was not fully maintained and it looks like a jungle to be honest and we felt unsafe.

Property is beautiful. Lovely yoga deck at the back facing the sea. Nice restaurant, bar and spa

No amenities. Bathroom only has thin curtains, no door. They don’t lend utensils if you want to eat food in your room, not from their restaurant

The staff was very friendly and food was amazing. The rooms are very clean and comfy. The highlight is the amazing garden with a nice view of sea.
