Had a lovely 3 nights here this week
Booking was simple, communication great, beautifully presented cottage and a lovely touch with the extras (bread, butter, milk, orange juice, jam and marmalade)
The views from the cottage were stunning and the chickens made me chuckle every day
We will definitely be back if staying in the area.

Loved the location, comfy sofa , beds and the chickens. Walks straight from the door. The views. The cottage was very well appointed. The host is very helpful.

Delightful cottage in superb setting with walking from the door. Clean and comfortable with good beds. Very friendly and informative manager. Good cafe (Graze on the Green) and pub (Coach House) in Rosedale village.
I would have preferred a shower, but could see that there was no possibility of fitting one in (my friend prefers a bath in any case). Lighting in living room, particularly over the cooker, was poor and we ended up cooking by torch light, but manager took this and other minor maintenance issues on board and we could see a bulb had gone in the overhead light.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owners were friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.
Be prepared for the realities of farm life. If you don't want to be disturbed by cockerels at sun rise, this probably isn't the accommodation for you.
