Shuttle to the airport was good, filling breakfast, friendly staff, secure room.
Showers had no hangers and didn’t feel completely clean, also not the safest area, but the shuttle to the airport included in the booking certainly helped this.

Breakfast was great! The taste and quality were great, and it was served in normal portions, so I wasn't tempted to gorge like I sometimes do at buffets. I met interesting people at breakfast. The airport shuttle was reliable and on-time (though you could actually walk to the airport in a pinch). It was very clean and well-maintained. The staff either spoke great English or had recourse to translation help. Signage was also helpful in English as well as Spanish.
Some parts of the original design of the building, like many places in Guatemala, is for significantly smaller people. I have in mind toilet stalls where my knees akmost hit the door. But I appreciate the fact that older buildings are maintained and not wasted into landfills. Couples with a lot of luggage might find the room too small. This is not a fancy modern hotel like you would pay $200 a night for in the USA. There is no elevator. But the value for money was excellent!

The private room was very comfortable. The dormitory room, which I had to be moved to on the second day as my room was previously booked, had hard noisy mattresses but again was adequate. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The location is good. The entire place is clean and pleasant. There was a taco stand down the street where one can eat dinner.
Transport to Airport at 2 p.m. was not free as advertised. Should be truthful and say it is 35 Q, not that that is exorbitant, just should be clear that there is a cost. Breakfast was mediocre but adequate. The second floor taps screamed after being turned off for some time.
