In a peaceful quiet location .Met by Mr Tee at the bus stop, easy check in , great experience in our tree house , helped organise and advise on local excursions and onward travel. As 2 vegans Mrs Tee made us some amazing evening meals . Made to feel very welcome .
We had some internet ‘issues ‘ for some of our stay but due to squirrel damage and lines had to be replaced - kept updated whilst repairs completed .

For a house on a tree, it really has everything you need. Possibly one of the coolest places I’ve slept in! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed taking a shower looking at the trees above me.

The grounds and location are beautiful. You are welcomed to the sounds of the jungle all around you and an outdoor dining area in which to enjoy the sights and noises.
The screens were not fully connected to the window which meant unless I wanted to invite the jungle in, I had to keep my windows shut which was a major disappointment as I wanted to listen to the sounds of the jungle. Because it was hot, I had to keep the AC on further limiting my ability to really hear the sounds around me. My room did not have a working porch light which made going up or down the stairs when dark quite the adventure as it is pitch black out there as expected. Lastly but most disappointing was the lady who was in charge of everything did not book me for the lake tour, the main reason I came to the area. She blamed me stating I did not tell her but the previous day, seeing that there was a language barrier, I made sure to point to the picture in her activities book multiple times. Case in point- make sure she writes your name down in her book to ensure you are booked. She will also quote you a lot higher price for private taxi then you will find in the village. This place is a 45 minute walk to the village where all the restaurants and bars are and a 20 minute walk to the van station (the primary pick up point for most booked vans/transfers) but are both down a jungle road so keep that in mind.

The rooms on the tree house with the monkeys around is a nice thing.
Poor breakfast, the location is remote and you need to get a taxi to every place.
Part of the staff don't know English and it was challenging to communicate with them.
Ths restaurant for launch/dinner is very mediocre.
