have stayed at Peacock Guest House three times over the past few years during my visits to Nepal. This place has a truly unique atmosphere and a very special charm. If you are looking for accommodation in a beautiful historic building that has preserved its original character, while also offering cleanliness, comfort and a welcoming environment, I can wholeheartedly recommend Peacock Guest House. It is a truly exceptional place that I am always happy to return to.

The location is perfect, right on the square and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. The food served inside and the setting was also very good.
Go for the more expensive rooms as the lower cost rooms are quite small. This is a very old building so the doorways and stair cases are very small/low.

It’s a lovely historic (700-hundred-year-old) guesthouse in the heart of Bhaktapur. The people who run the place are warm, welcoming and accommodating.

Historic, old building, close to action
Very dirty bedsheets, they obviously didn't change them for a long time, smell was terrifying and many yellow stains and hair. They didn't even apologize for that.
