The Hotel was located a 5 minute walk from the bus and train station and close to a bunch of reasonably priced restaurants. The lobby staff were friendly and accommodating, there was free water refill in the lobby. The room itself was simply furnished but more than adequate for our stay with windows looking out onto the main street. We did not go to nambin beach but we did stop off for a few hours at the beach which was on the 310 bus route to Taroko Gorge - cant remember the name of it but it was a good place to go with all the shell exhibits on the beach.
There was no breakfast available at this hotel but we walked across to the Family Mart and I guess for Hualien this was not an issue.

Great location in proximity to the train station, should’ve probably stayed close to Hualien city town for more night life action. Building and facilities were fine. Great WiFi
The beds were like sleeping on a board. Not comfortable at all. We stayed for three days and had terrible sleep for three days and now a stiff back from such poor beds. A/c was also not cold which made it hard to sleep.
