The style and comfort. The good was an excellent quality and well prepared. Very attentive staff
Our room was rather small but cosy. However on the plus side they provided large bath towels, hairdryer and kettle for tea and coffee.

We liked virtually everything about the hotel, which exceeded our expectations. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was excellent, both in the evenings and plenty of choice for breakfast. Located just outside the town of Buckfastleigh, we were able to leave the car behind and walk down to the steam railway, also up to the Abbey to experience the gardens in the peace of the evening. Would definitely return to this hotel if visiting the area again.

Breakfast was good choices and relaxed. Pleasant dining room. Great granolas. Mushrooms delicious. Freshly cooked to order. Coffee could be improved. Staff are very friendly and helpful - excellent. Good outside areas for drinks and relaxing. Coffee in the evening was good.
For dinner, the fish and chips were disappointing and the ravioli was a bit tough.
Room was small and cluttered, while the bed was comfortable. The shower was in the bath, so difficult for my wife to get in and out.
