I would love to come back and rent the entire hotel for a week, with friends from all over the world.

Everything was perfect: The location, the food, the people. Even with a small number of guests, I was impressed by how the staff is constantly working on maintaining the property and offering the guests a great stay.

No downsides here.

With the room facing the beach is a bonus! Easy access from the high way! Convenient location to visit Jaco and Manuel Antonio.

one of the best and calmest places I’ve ever stayed. was perfect for the quiet few days I wanted by the beach. the beach access was a huge plus. the bar by the pool was perfect and I ate at the restaurant every day and was never disappointed. highly recommend

pretty and comfortable Tico-style hotel in phenomenal location

incredible setting, excellent Costa Rican food, very clean room, comfortable and big enough for a group of 3 adults. charming rustic Tico place perfect for 1-3 nights or so. would absolutely return.

location was great; could see and hear the ocean from our room. hotel staff are like a family; they are super friendly and helpful.

Disappointing

Cocktails from the bar are far the best in Costa Rica! Very friendly staff, clean beach, comfy beds, quiet pool area. This hotel is more visited by locals than foreign tourists.

The nonexistent wifi, food wasn't great, breakfast 3 meals to choose from, not much to do there unless you have a car. Impossible to get a taxi from there.

We got what was expected. Not much.

Close to the beach.

Hotel is dated. Pool lights didn’t work, according to staff. Or maybe he was too lazy to turn them on. It’s low season, we were the only guests. Minimal staff.

Employees are friendly and helpful

There's an issue with the water, you have to complain everytime to use the shower. Also the internet is useless.

Will definitely come back for the longer stay.

Location - you will never find better in Costa Rica. Stuff is very nice and professional. The food is very tasty. The Internet WI FI in a room is not working that good, but in a lobby and right beside swimming pool works excellent. I definitely will come back to this property.

Amazing location & scenery! Excellent view of the beach & water from our room & a pretty pool too.

Fabulous location, right on a quiet stretch of the beach & only a few steps to the water! The beautiful scenery, nice restaurant, great pool, & friendly staff all contributed to a lovely stay for us.

Our shower produced only a thin stream of water so it was difficult to shower properly. When we mentioned it to staff, they explained that they were already aware and actively trying to address the problem. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful!

This hotel has seen better days on the management needs customer service training.

It’s all about the location. Easy access and right on the beach. The breakfast was good although small. Breakfast comes with just one thin piece of toast cut in half. The pool is comfortable although in need of renovation.

The hotel and its rooms are showing signs of age and neglect. During several showers I had no hot water and the showerhead fell off the pipe every time. There is in safe in the room but it doesn’t work. It doesn’t look like it’s worked for many years. When I complained that there was no hot water several times I was told bluntly that the other rooms all had hot water. Was that supposed to make me feel better that everyone else had water except for me? All I wanted was an apology but I never was told that they were sorry. They simply told me how I had handled it wrong. somehow it was my fault.

There was a rule about one towel per day, which no one told us about and even after we asked to have our more towel for our baby daughter because the first one was dirty from the beach they refused. The next day I asked for another towel and they refused because it’s one towel per night. Then they accused us of being Americans and not respecting the locals even though I am Tico. Then, the proceeded to get in a verbal alter tactile with me about the stay, how I wasn’t respectful, etc. Great location but manager very poorly.

Beautiful location well worth a visit

Location is the top feature of this hotel. Being right by the beach plus the beautiful green area surrounding the hotel is worth the money.

The room was comfortable but it could do with a face lift. The wi-fi connection was a bit flaky in the room (which was next to the restaurant).

Superb

Superb location right on beach. Quiet and secluded; feels like you have your own private beach. We loved the quiet, secluded feel of the place, but a heads up for anyone that may want more variety. There is a great plaza 2 kms up the road that offers a variety of food.
