Nothing - everything was perfect

This is exactly the hotel I love to stay! It only has 10 rooms, is family run, an individual style and an excellent restaurant which doesn’t make you believe that you are in a hotel. We loved the interior and the personal approach. sitting outside in the garden is gorgeous. Also breakfast is fabulous.

We missed a mirrow in our room and a bit more light to get your make up done in the bathroom.

The bathroom was tiny. Dinner and breakfast is set. While the breakfast table was presented beautifully, the actual breakfast was unexpectedly standard for the price and style of the place. Plus we got brushed off in a rather "direct" way by the breakfast staff member, when we tried to ask to change the bits we did not want from the prepared set (for example bread instead of croissants). She really ruined the start of the day and unfortunately overshadowed our stay a bit. That tone we would expect from a prison ward but not from someone looking after guests. That was an exception though, all other staff were very friendly. Tip for the hotel: perhaps have a short list of breakfast items that guests could choose from the day before Tip for guests: ask what the breakfast will be like, if you have dislikes, allergies. (We had mentioned both the evening before, when we booked breakfast at our arrival, but assume the person did not take note of that).

Wonderful location and estate. Original rooms and decoration. Fine breakfast in atmospheric environment. Great tastes of surprise dinner. Very attentive staff. Must do: walk around the forest in the morning.

Due to the sudden rains in the tropical evening the speed of serving the dishes on the outside tables unfortunately was too fast. However, it didn't press our mood thanks to the ever friendly service.
