. I enjoyed my time there and would happily return to the Mermain Inn on my next visit to Mirissa

The Mermain Inn in Mirissa was an excellent choice for my stay! The location was perfect, just steps away from the beautiful beach. The owner lady is was friendly, greeted us with a refreshing drink and making sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean and comfortable, offering a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The owner lady also helped us arrange a cab to our next destination to bentota.

The wifi strength was not good in all the areas of the room

A cheap and clean room, nothing more.

Price considered, this place is a steal. They have a small kitchen with essentials (no oven) free of charge. The room was clean and as you would expect.

Very loud at night! Dogs barking and noisy street… Breakfast was the worst we have had in Sri Lanka. No Wi-Fi? We didn’t find one and got no introduction. Lights and kettle didn’t work when we arrived, but they fixed it very quickly though. Also, they went into our room the change the kettle when we weren’t home, which was nice of them, however we didn’t give our permission for them to do this. Nothing missing or anything, so this was solely a good deed, however it would have been nice to have allowed for this to happen :/

if you want peaceful and friendly atmosphere, stay here

very nice and cozy guest house with lovely family. everyone is helping and smiling. you can ask for washing your clothes for additional payment which was helpful. not far from the beach

power cut - but it’s not owner’s fault

Would stay here again

Room and bathroom was spacious, nice balcony/outside seating. Towels replaced often along with little tidy up. Owner is very friendly and takes pride in his hotel. Would stay here again.

Would have liked a kettle or a mini fridge but that's it

Really clean, nice staff and beautiful garden. Bed was good. Room was big and lots of placed to hang your clothes

When you go to the beach you have to go trough the mainroad.

the small kitchen space where it’s even hard slice fruit, it will be a huge improvement to use normal kitchen while staying for a long time

Nicest place in Mirissa

The place is more beautiful than the photos. Best location in best price. We wanted to checkout late and our room was pre-booked in the last day of our stay. But, the owner gave us a room to stay till evening for free.

Great place to stay

Lovely little place not too far away from the beach and main strip but far enough that noise was very minimal. Tasty breakfast included, lots of hot water and a friendly host. Would recommend

Although the room could be considered somewhat basic, it was very clean, in a great location and the staff were very accommodating.

Not much - would have been nice to have had A/C or a fridge in the room. However these are rather trivial.
