Very friendly family, large spread of breakfast, clean room with comfortable mattress. Good amenities like TV, Wifi worked well, bathroom. I liked the old farmhouse location, staying in the roof of a building from the 1600s! Excellent value for money considering that you're less that 10km from Utrecht. If you don't mind staying in someone's house (possibly in smaller groups), then it's a great place to stop in.
The Location, being in a small village outside of Utrecht, was a little tricky, especially finding food in the evening. Arriving with a bike meant that it was a 40 minute round trip to the nearest supermarket/food place. Paying with Cash was a little annoying when travelling light, but manageable, and perhaps a more formal bike storage place would be great.

Close proximity where I to where I needed to be. Nice part of the area.
Faffing about water in the shower. Catching cold water in bucket, before hot water reaches the tap. Not showering for more than 5 minutes. The water pressure was so low that it took 5 minutes just to get wet.
The room is cramped, with two beds.

De kamer is niet luxe, maar dat had ik voor deze prijs ook niet verwacht. Maar het is prima toeven bij Paul en Lettie, en het zijn deze mensen die de toegevoegde waarde leveren. Een heerlijk nostalgische boerderij, fijne sfeer, we voelden ons helemaal thuis. Dank je voor jullie vriendelijkheid, Paul en Lettie!

De landelijke omgeving
Verouderde badkamer. Maar 5 minuten mogen douchen met lauw water. Eigenaresse die totaal ongepast tijdens onze afwezigheid in onze kamer is geweest om een lamp uit te doen. Water moeten opvangen in een emmer voor de bloemen.
