Die Villa Scheckenbach ist kein Hotel im klassischen Sinn (deshalb auch kein Frühstück im Haus, sondern auswärts). Das Haus, die "Villa" ist erst ein paar Jahre alt, das Gebäude ist sehr schön. die Räumlichkeiten sind alle modern eingerichtet, alles ist sehr sauber, es gibt einen grosses Aufenthaltsraum mit einer komplett ausgestatteten Küche. Die Lage ist ideal, mitten in Sommerach - alles ist zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Gastfamilie ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und geht auf alle Wünsche ein.
Keine Kritik, aber wir freuen uns schon, wenn auch die Aussenanlage fertig gestaltet worden ist. Dann ist das Haus ein wahres Juwel!

Das Zimmer ist neu und sehr zweckmässig eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber und neuwertig. Ebenfalls steht den Gästen eine Küche zur Verfügun.
Allerdings war das Bettzeug, die Decke und das Kissen, qualitativ nicht mehr hochwertig, was zu keinem sehr guten Schlafergebnis führte. Auch war die Matratze sehr hart. In dem Hotel wird kein Frühstück angeboten. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es keine Cafes die man zum Frühstücken aufsuchen könnte. Zimmerservice war ebenfalls keiner vorhanden. Insgesamt war der Preis etwas hoch, für das Angebot.
