About this house rental
Situated in Palenville, this charming house for $394 per night is a great option for your next break. Welcome to our spacious 2700sqft 3 Bedroom/2 Bathroom Chalet located in the Catskills. Set on a private road this newly constructed home sits on 3 acres and features a large Great Room with cathedral ceilings and fireplace open to the custom gourmet kitchen with KraftMaid cabinets, Quartz counters and stainless appliances. The outdoor living space consists of a 610 sqft. deck with black railings. The kitchen is stocked for your needs and features a dishwasher, full set of pots and pans, a set of chef's knives, an oven, plates, cups, mugs, mixing bowls, cutting board and cooking utensils. We also provide a toaster, microwave, tea kettle, coffee maker and blender. Help yourself to any of the spices available. Garbage bags and hand towels are also available for your use. The two bathrooms are stocked with plenty of towels, hand soap and toilet paper. Each bed features a comfortable and new mattress, pillows, linens and comforters. Extra pillows, linens and blankets are available in the linen closet. The dining area has a 6 seater glass dining room table and 4 additional barstools. There is a large open concept living room, with an electric fireplace and comfortable seating. The sliding doors lead out onto the large deck/grill area. The master suite occupies the top floor and features a den/study area, walk-in closet and sizable Master bath with an Air Driven Whirlpool Tub, shower & double vanity and a mounted flat screen smart T.V. Completing the first level are two bedrooms and full bathroom. Two twins beds occupy one bedroom and a queen size bed in the second room. Downstairs, the basement walks out to the front of the house and doubles as a family/game room. There is a large entertainment area with a sleek Lazzoni sleeper sofa and a 55" TV. We offer plenty of games, as well as internet and access to smart T.V channels. The pool table and poker tables are great for keeping guests entertained. The laundry area has a full size washer and dryer and we provide laundry detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets. Guests have access to the entire house except the basement closet, which we use as storage.

Great Thanksgiving away from home!
Our daughters go to college in NY and we decided to bring the holiday and family to them. This was an incredible setting and everything we needed was right there. Great getaway!

The home is modern, clean and set up for fun. We especially enjoyed the fire pit for late night s’mores, the game table for ping pong and cards.
The master bedroom suite, privately on it’s own on the second floor, was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect to see the falls, visit Hunter Mountain and explore Hudson Valley towns.

Blissful retreat in the Catskills
Perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy a true escape. So nice to stay in a place that is clearly set up for visitors to enjoy themselves and feel at home. Spotlessly clean, uncluttered and every imaginable thing you might need seems to be there. We were there to ski at Hunter, which we enjoyed but also just loved being at the house, ligthing a fire and relaxing in the great room or hot tub. The hosts have done a wonderful job and are also enthusiastically helpful. Just a lovely house!

Indeed a zen retreat
I stayed here for 3 nights by myself just to chill & unwind from city life. I can’t think of a better place to do this. The house is really lovely & well-designed. I also communicated a couple of times with Betty & she is very helpful & responsive. Would definitely recommend this zen getaway to anyone.

The house was very comfortable, and true to the pictures on the listing. Also, the kitchen is very well-stocked - something we had not expeccted. We thoroughly enjoyed our nine day stay. The location is very well-located for hikes in the Kaaterskill region. The internet works perfectly as well!

The house is beautiful, stylishly decorated, secluded, comfortable, and fully equipped for a relaxing getaway from the city. Creek and hiking paths nearby too!
