This is very important. It's guest safety. I stayed in room 529. The room has a small balcony/ terrace. The STEP UP From the room onto the terrace is perhaps 8/9 inches through the glass patio door. Great.. But when you return from the terrace down into the room you initially misjudge the step distance and I fell forward into the room and luckily landed on the bed. Someone unsteady in their mobility or had a few drinks it's a accident waiting to happen..! Simple solution to the hotels liability possibly and customer care reputation is a sign warning of the potential big step on the patio glass door, maybe other signage on the terrace etc.
Hope this helps avoid a nasty accident..

The staff at reception were very helpful and kind. Our room was very comfortable and very quiet as the hotel is back from the street. Our window looked out onto an open and pleasant view including a huge horse chestnut tree looking very beautiful with its new, spring foliage.

Easy access with the dog. Fairly spacious room and bathroom.
Smelled of smoke in corridors and floors weren't very clean. Stepped off the floor onto white bath mat and the dirt from the floor made a footprint! Places that had been mopped had fluff and hair at the edges.

It did the job. Nice to have basic cooking facilities, a heater, desk, etc.
Grim vibes to be honest. Very concrete, ugly, no proper curtains.
