Located just opposite the Magdeburg Buckau station, one stop on the suburban line, the City Pension is excellent value for money. Big, spotless room and bathroom, good wifi, great breakfast. You can walk by the Elbe and into the city, or take public transport.
It's not right in the centre, but I knew that when I booked.

The premises is very-very clean and comfortable. The personnel is nice and helpful.
No elevator (lift). No option of service (?though I did not ask)

It’s very good value for the money. Perfect for one night stay. The stuff was helpful and you can bring your pet with you for a small fee.
The walls could clearly benefit from cleaning and painting.
