Poor

the property was clean and in a nice part of town

the owners were extremely unpleasant. they have very strict rules about the group areas, the wifi was terrible, and the hosts were cheap and unwilling to accommodate anything. the safes were broken in the rooms. We were a large group so we purchased 2 rooms for 3 nights, 4 days. We asked for some extra towels for a room that housed four people because they kept closing all the windows and none of the towels were able to air dry…..they gave us one towel. They were unwilling to try to translate the messages they sent before they sent them. The wifi was terrible. We used the group area for two hours maximum in the early afternoon when no other guests were there, and we received a message after telling us to clean the group area and that we are only allowed to sit at a table that “matches our room color.” Keep in mind this message was sent hours after we moved the chairs back to where they were. additionally each table for the rooms only had three chairs, but we have a group of four in one room. the staff was using the communal area in the morning and were very loud early in the morning and woke us all up. Lastly, check out was 10am which is an hour earlier than most places. And the woman who cleans the rooms sat outside our rooms with her cleaning supplies telling multiple people in our party that we had to leave and check out was at 10am at 9:20. We were all basically packed but she kept reminding us that we needed to leave. we left the property by 9:45 15 minutes before check out because we felt harassed. The property is clean and in a nice location but the owners make it not worth it. it’s an expensive stay and the owners have a jewelry shop across the street that they also own, so I find it amazing that they can’t give a group of four people more than one towel.

Amazing location-Value for money

The location is just amazing, at the central part and also close to harbor. Walking distance to a close-by train station. We didn't take breakfast there, but they offered us some snacks and tea/coffee anyway. We arrived later than the regular check-in time and it was easy to arrange for this. Check-out was also very easy and we could leave our luggage till later.

The shower is a bit small, but not a big deal. There was some noise, especially from the common area in the early morning. We could hear everything. We were together with my friend, and they forgot to prepare the second bed with sheets. It was solved the day after.

Well managed B&B with style in the heart of old city

Situated in the heart of old city, nearby everything You may be interested in, its clean, with large nicely styled rooms, good shower, and welcoming shared kitchen. Breakfast is ok, hosts are trying their best to assist You.

Parking in the old city may be very tough, dont expect it to be free at all. Yet some parking options exist around in the range up to 1 km…

Very central in old town

Location was good. Hard to get there by car, but super central. Don't stay here if you want to sleep early though but good vibe to go out at night with super central access.

The cleaning lady who was sent to collect the taxes and check passports did not speak a single word of English and was super super rude and impatient. Owners were nice over the phone though

A nice stay at the place, near center

Everything was fine with our stay. The room was clean, beautifully decorated. There was a small breakfast although we did not order or pay for it. The host was very friendly. Location is good, near the center.

The shower cabin was very small, with a complicated shower with lots of heads and functions, which makes it difficult to just take a shower fast. The room was small for 4 people, but this was expected. There was no mosquito net on the window, and mosquitoes bothered us in the night. Kind of noisy in the morning.

Good central accomodation

In the very centre of Salerno at 10/15 minutes walk to train station and ferries. Nice and clean room with all facilities advertised in place. Staff helpful and kind. Breakfast very essential but satisfactory

Size of the room was good, the beds were large, the bathroom ensuite. Possibility to use the kitchen, to make tea, use microwave etc.

The breakfast was really poor only with packed goods, which was probably still due to covid?

The location was in a super location and easy to find only a 10min quick walk through the town.

Breakfast was advertised as included, was a little disappointing. I was expecting an Italian start to the day, nice fresh bread, yogurt and piece of fruit. It was rather boring. Packet of biscuits, presealed bread and packet bun that were left in my room. Cristina did make me a good cup of coffee.

Great place to stay

Good location, great communication and easy checking. If you go with a car need to find a private parking to leave it overnight as the Public parking is expensive and the traffic is terrible.

Huge modern rooms in a historical building in the heart of the old town.

This B&B is a gem. Rooms are huge and stylish with high ceilings. The bed was very comfortable. There are also common areas and a kitchen. The host was always available via mobile/WhatsApp and helped us with parking and finding good places for dinner. We also met the nice father of the host who came to the B&B to handle the payment. In the morning we met the cleaning lady who was very friendly as well. She serves coffee/breakfast. The place is very close to the cathedral. We can only recommend this B&B.

Nice location with some weak sides

Nicely located in the centre, …

… but we felt like in a youth hostel. Breakfast was supposed to be at 8 but the lady was late. Lavatory flash wakes you up. Room was spacy but no glasses for the water. All in all Ok, but no homely atmosphere.

Situated perfectly in the old town, the staff was great and very helpful. Recommended by all means.

If you want to visit Salerno for a couple of days, this is the perfect place.

The best location in the historical center, very close to excellent pizzerias, nice bars and shops. The room was quiet (not very common in Italy) and WiFi and AC worked perfectly. Nice shower.
