Casa Picva is a beautiful and historic property, lovingly maintained and presented. We loved the location, its easy proximity to the walled town of Obidos (just outside, right beside a lower gate) but still quiet and away from the crowds.
The owner João was welcoming and very generously allowed us to park our two cars in his parking spots to save us the trouble of finding street parking.
There was nothing to dislike. It was wonderful.

This is a distinctive historic home right outside the medieval walls of Óbidos. Feels like a museum with historic furniture, art and collectibles on display. Joao is a very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable host. Onsite parking is a plus. Rooms are comfortable, quaint well equipped.

Fabulous property with history. Well apportioned rooms, exceptional location which is literally just outside the walls. Great breakfast spread too.
