The house is lovely, and the neighborhood might be one of the best in the city. The door is closed during the night, but someone from the staff is always there to open it for you, even in the late hours. The room was very spacious, I loved the decorations, and the beds were nicely made. The breakfast is simple but delicious, exactly what you need in the morning. Fresh fruit, omelette, roti, tea, and all the good stuff. The owner is a wise man with many interesting stories to tell, and the staff are also very kind. Overall, it was a lovely stay.
I wish the bathroom had been a little better maintained, and unfortunately, the hairdryer wasn’t working either. The biggest issue, though, was the construction site right next to my window. I completely understand that this is outside the property’s control, which is why I’m still giving the place a high rating. However, the noise was extremely loud and, at times, unbearable, the whole room was vibrating while the construction work was going on.

The place is very well located- quiet yet close to all necessary amenities. The owner was a kind person and served us a simple hot meal as we had checked in late in the evening after a long working day and were too tired to step out for dinner. This was provided on the house. The room was large and for two persons it was very comfortable. They have a lot of lovely old wooden furniture.
I think the rooms/bath area can be spruced up a bit as they are a little run down. While the furniture is nice they can have fewer pieces in the room to make it more spacious.

Rooms and bathrooms in need of updating. Other communal areas look tired
