I was given a room upgrade when I arrived which was a pleasant surprise after a long day hiking. My room was spotless and had everything I needed. The bed was super comfy There is ample parking at the front and also in the car park at the back.. I went for food in the pub which is 2 minutes walk away and had a really nice meal and pint. In the morning I had a full English breakfast which was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Debbie greeted us warmly and was very kind and helpful. She went over and above our expectations and we found her very caring. The breakfasts were superb and the small touches to finer details were really lovely.

The sloping ceiling in room 5 made it impossible to sit up in bed to read. We had to be very mindful so as not to bump our heads.
