This was our first time staying in Ios and when we come back we will be staying here again! Firstly there is a local bus from the port to mylopotas which stops directly
out the front of Gianemma which is so convenient.
We were warmly greeted and shown the room which was perfect - overall the room was so modern and lovely, the kitchen / lounge area very spacious, we stayed in an room with balcony above the pool area which was so pretty and the bathroom / bedroom great.
During our stay it was so hot outside and the air conditioning was perfect.
Overall really good experience at Gianemma.
Literally only thing is the blanket / doona is very thin other then that everything was great

Immaculate condition of the property - amazing views and pool and facilities - helpful staff - great location. Spacious and well appointed. Cleaned everyday and private pool was brilliant

It was very clean and the daily housekeeping was great!
Distance to Chora and beach was good.
Absolutely no acoustic insulation between floors meant that we could hear every furniture dragging noise from the apartment upstairs.
The hotel is located next to a steep road and you can hear bikes and coaches all day. It can get quite noisy at times.
A few details were not thought through, internal doors were noisy when opening and closing, air-con in our living area failed in the last couple of days of our stay, bathroom was getting very wet when using the shower. Lighting wasn't great, either too bright and no ambient light at all.
Check in time at 15:00 is too late for me especially when travelling all morning to get there.
