As there were interleading doors I could hear all the noises from adjacent rooms.

Very convenient location particularly if you come into George via the Outiniqua pass. Quiet neighbourhood. Friendly hosts. Generous, tasty breakfast.
Room was cold and there was no heating. Lack of attention to detail. No hand soap. Scruffy towels. Bathroom door did not reach the top of the door frame. Sound from other rooms came through.

The lodge was situated close to town, and we enjoyed how warm the room was.
I really dislike bath showers, and none of the images of the lodge showed a bath shower in the bathroom so seeing it was really disappointing. The manual referenced a lamp that would be provided for loadshedding which we never received. The DSTV remote wasn't working so we couldn't watch any TV. The towels we were provided with were really old. Our room had 2 single beds instead of a double, so we had to sleep separately.
