Das Ferienhaus liegt zwischen dem Shop und dem Privathaus, parken ist entweder direkt davor oder gleich daneben möglich. Auf der Farm gibt es Kühe, Ziegen, Katzen, (kleine) Hunde, Hühner und sogar Pfauen. Im Ort befindet sich in ca. 3 km Entfernung ein Supermarkt, der Shop führt aber jedenfalls exzellenten Käse. Das Haus bietet sonst alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Die Nähe zur Autobahn und zentrale Lage im Land ermöglicht unkomplizierte Ausflüge zu den wichtigsten Zielen. Der nächstgrößere Bahnhof (P & R) mit Verbindung überall hin liegt in Woerden ca. 10 km entfernt).
Dadurch dass es eine Farm ist, gibt es viele Insekten (das schränkt die Gartennutzung v.a. am Abend ein, wenn man sich nicht komplett einsprühen möchte (für langes Gewand war es viel zu warm)). Zwar haben jene Fenster, die sich öffnen lassen, Fliegengitter, allerdings sind die schon in die Jahre gekommen und teilweise etwas marode. Aus der Regendusche tropft es kalt, wenn die Handbrause (warm) benützt wird.
