Everything! I loved how quiet the neighborhood is, how traditional the room is, the absolutely lovely owners, and the puppy! I felt more like being in a home than just a place to stay.

Outstanding place to stay while traveling to Tokyo. The owners of the Mokkoan were very welcoming, helpful and warm. It was pure pleasure to talk with them, share the stories and fully experience stay there with a lot of interesting cultural discoveries. Breakfeast was delicious, prepared freshly every morning with care and good ingridients. I am also very grateful for lifts to the station, help with managing luggage and navigating through the city. So if you are thinking that it is too far from the centre or there will be problem getting there - completely opposite, I was amazed how pleasant and easy was to get there. And the house with garden, I will only say that it was mesmerizing, wonderful traditional house with charming garden are really creating calm oasis in the bustling city. The whole stay is amazing and unique experience. Thank you for all your hospitality and great stay!

It was a great experience! I stayed in room 101, it was quite big and pretty comfy and it had a great view to the garden. It had everything needed to feel comfortable. But besides that, you're treated like one of the family. The breakfast is made that very same morning and the orange jam is home made! Thank you so much!
