I loved the staff the guest and guest, it’s an outstanding hostel to me. The amenities were not flashy, no new sofas … but I enjoyed myself a lot, made some friendships, learned some new dance moves, when in the area I’m sure I will be back. It felt like a treehouse to me because it has an open layout and many levels to it or better put floors maybe 4 if my memory serves me correct so if you don’t like stairs (overweight) not for you.

It’s an amazing place for anyone looking to learn salsa and bachata. I had such a great time here and I learned to dance in no time, even though I had no experience before! The teachers are fantastic, and the group lessons in the evenings were always so much fun.
What I loved most was the sense of community, supported by social events and the wonderful volunteers. The owners are incredibly kind, and whenever I had a question, the staff were there to help. I didn’t just learn how to dance — I found a home.

Hammocks area.
On the 2nd night apparently my bed was given to another person. I assume it was a mix up but that’s still unacceptable. At about 3am a guy came in after drinking and started throwing his stuff on the bed while I was asleep. Me and the guy got into an argument and the worker (security I assume) overnight was laughing about the situation. The same worker who told me quiet hours started at 11pm and that I had to leave the hammock prior. She didn’t handle the situation well in my opinion. Anyway, it’s really disorganized because they don’t monitor who is located in what bed. People walk in and choose their bed. I guess because my bed was made they thought it was free. Those who came in from partying made a lot of noise and interrupted the sleep of those in the room. It took me 3 hours to fall back asleep. Also the bathrooms are dirty and in two of the bathrooms I used to shower had chunks of hair inside
