Excellent. I’m glad I stayed at the Gingerbread House. I’m glad I met Mr and Mrs Mackay 🙂

Lovely property in good location both geographically and area wise. Generous room size. Good a.c. Nice dipping pool. Nice balcony. Lovely proprietor and staff.

Nothing. I couldn’t operate the television but I don’t watch it anyway.

Beautiful guest house and garden with lovely hosts

We had a lovely stay at the Gingerbread House. Bernard and his wife were extremely welcoming. The garden is absolutely beautiful with plenty of places to relax and wind down after sightseeing. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. There are lots of nice places to eat within a very short walking distance too.

TT Gingerbread House

Love the coziness of the property. Conveniently located to Ariapita Avenue - food, drinks, liming. Also conveniently located for doing business.

The Internet needs upgrading, kept dropping at certain locations on the property. Perhaps some WiFi extenders need to be installed to keep the signal consistent.

PERFECT HOTEL IN PERFECT LOCATION WITH A SUPERFRINDLY OWNER OF THE HOTEL

Everything was perfect ! Rose as the host superfreindly with good hints for everythin (Restaurants, Breakfast, How to get to beache, cricket stadium, ...) Super clean, no matter if garden, room or pool (the pool is small but perfect after a day of sightseing to take a dip into fresh clean water). If you need taxi for airport, beach, .... she recommends Panther, a superfriendly and trustful funny and friendly local with lots of knowledge about Trinidad. Booked him for airport transfers and to the beach. 100% recommendation for Panther, 100%recommendation for the Hotel.

This house is amazing

House is beautiful and room as well. There is a beautiful small garden and pool front of the room. Owner is really nice and helpful. We were almost like at home. Beautiful place

Nice people, nice atmosphere...just nice!

I felt completely at home. Rosemary is absolutely lovely. I will return for a longer stay.

Generally a really pleasant stay, and would recommend.

The location is excellent, amenities inc. restaurants, bars etc and downtown Port of Spain within walking distance. The studio we stayed in is an annex to a traditional Trinidad house where the owners live. I love these houses as they are simply beautiful and represent the Trinidad that my mother grew up in. The garden is beautiful and tranquil, great to spend time in during a romantic break with a spouse. Rosemary is also a lovely lady and both her husband are very helpful if any problem arises. Finally, Trinidad Gingerbread House is located in what appears to be a relatively safe neighbourhood.

The double bed was a little too firm for me, but others may not find this a problem. Also, there are also tiny frogs serenading guests at nights, particularly if it rains in the evenings/nights, which kept me awake, but I started to get used to hearing them by my fourth night. Again, if sounds at night don't interfere with your sleep, it won't be a problem.

Great Guests House! Our room was very spacious and clean. The backyard is absolutely lovely with a small pool. Great place to relax and the owners were very kind with us! I recommend!

Absolutely amazing convenient and cosy getaway spot.

This place is the perfect spot to stay!! Location was perfect and the host/owner is a very charming lady who made my stay as comfortable as possible. I wouldn't consider any other place in Trinidad for my next stay!!! Will strongly recommend for anyone and I will promote this place as much as I can. I wish I could give this more higher rating. This place is a beautiful hidden gem.

Cannot find anything negative to say except for the absence of a visa/credit card option to pay.....and this is not even a negative.

The house, the garden, the room with the private patio were amazing, full of atmosphere, and it sorprised us as in Port of Spain many hotels have just anonymous sad rooms for business travelers. The owner was so nice and her touch gets the charme of the place. i wish we could stay there some more days and just share experiences and talk. No doubt it's the place where i would like to stay. The location is the best, ... just in front we got also a covid rapid test in an organized lab.

Highly recommended …. Just perfect!!!

Beautifully kept property.Relaxed atmosphere with pretty gardens and a small plunge pool. The room was clean and comfortable with access to a small private courtyard.On site parking. Very friendly and accommodating owner.

Our only disappointment was we were not able to book for next year as she is fully booked !!!!
