La Spirduta is a huge space with all the facilities you could need for a short or long stay in Ortigia. It’s a fantastic apartment in a traditional building that has been carefully renovated and decorated with style and comfort.
The host, Sabrina, is welcoming and efficient. She communicates everything in good time and answers questions really quickly.
If you’re looking at the pictures online they do not do the space justice. It’s far, far better in real life :-)
The bed is really comfy with 2 pillows per person and a quilt for colder days. Air-conditioning is really good.
The only thing to be aware of is that it’s a traditional building - with marble stairs that twist! If you have one of those giant wheelie suitcases then consider carefully. Rucksacks are great!
Only that we had to leave after 3 days!

It was close to the beach, the market and restaurants. The house was clean and it had A.C. in every room. They had an iron and everything we needed in the kitchen.
I didn't like the stairs that you had to take to the apartment. They were narrow and in a spiral. Initially, I thought we won't be able to take the luggage upstairs, but somehow we managed.

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It had a homely and cozy atmosphere which we loved. Sabrina was very responsive and attentive throughout our stay.

Lovely lovely flat by Sabrina. Every bit of details were well thought out. I love when previous owners of houses turn them into holiday houses like this… Very centrally located, comfortable bed, superb walk in shower that I am thinking my own flat to have one of these.
Just the check in time :) it was advertised anyway but 4 pm is a bit late
