good food, especially breakfast options. Good location with lovely trab=nquil grounds and super swimming pool.
Safari costs are astronomical for foreign visitors at Gir Forest and when Woods add an excessive mark up it questions the viability.

People at Woods are it's biggest plus point. They are warm and helpful. Yogesh, Rajeshwari, Vijaybhai, Jethabhai.. and everyone else. They go out of their way to make your trip memorable.
Lots of curated activities available like the safari, sundowner, sunrise, vintage tea, plus pottery, edible garden visit, jungle documentary... Just loved everything.
The thali at Swadesh was beyond awesome. Not greasy like the other thalis outside. Served with love.
Rooms could be bigger. For a family of 3 it's a little cramped.
They are a little expensive. They charged 5k for an extra bed per night.
Food can be better. It gets boring if you stay for more than 2 nights esp the breakfast. They can add more regional food to the menu.
