Simple, but sufficient (with nice breakfast ;) ). Very helpfull host!

Breakfast was very nice and well-organised. A wide variety of options with fresh fruits. The host was also very accommodating and always available to help with any requests or questions.

The bedroom and common area were a bit smaller than expected.

Standout host, location and accommodation

Franci is an excellent host. He's helpful, responsive, patient. The location is excellent, the facilities were really good and breakfast was great. He made recommendations for rafting that were great and I felt he steered us right at every turn. Recommend without reservations. They also do bike rentals which is super convenient.

Excellent place to stay

The hosts were so accommodating - from letting us check in early, to responding to our every need. The location was excellent, 2 mins walk away from the town centre, but in a quiet spot. Fantastic breakfasts.

Some of the other guests were loud late at night, but this was not the hosts’ fault.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this stay.

The hotel was very clean with gorgeous views in a great location. The buffet breakfast was the best we had in Slovenia with lots of nice options.

On the listing page it lists a hot tub and sauna as one of the facilities, and it was also listed as on of the features when we booked our room. When we arrived we found it we would be charged €62 to use it. I've gone back and checked the listing and it does mention somewhere that it's an additional charge but it was very hard to find and it seems purposefully misleading. At check-in, the host offered us what he described as an upgrade as we were the only guests, moving us to a room next to the hot tub and sauna. It was only after we had checked in that he mentioned the extra charge to use these facilities. The following day, when we declined to use them, the interaction felt uncomfortable and left us feeling unwelcome. I've never experienced anything like it at any other hotel I've stayed at. I think his intention was to guilt trip us into spending an additional €62 and imply that we had unfairly taken an upgrade. In addition, I don't think our room actually was an upgrade. This studio may have been bigger but I'd booked a room with three beds and a balcony view and instead was given a room with a small double and a view out straight to the hot tub which would have been really weird if someone was using it. Even if we had implied we might used the hot tub, the rudeness from the host was quite shocking and made us feel really unwelcome. I've never left a bad review before so I feel very sad to do this and I hope they can take some learnings for future guests.
