The pull-out table will seat 10 with room for four more at the counter seats. The private communal pool and hot tub are only steps away. What’s nearby: Whether you’re in search of outdoor activities or the ease of a mild winter, you’ll find it all within the 33 square miles of Washington. Theaters, restaurants, Costco, Walmart, and Albertsons Grocery are all within a seven-minute drive. There are 10 area golf courses to play. Sand Hollow and Quail Creek State Parks offer boating and swimming. World-class hiking is close by with literally hundreds of trails. Look up the best hikes in the world and you will find Angels Landing and Zion Narrows in Zion National Park. Nearby is Snow Canyon State Park, while the Red Cliffs National Recreation Area is only a five-minute drive. For the theater buffs, an Emmy-winning Shakespeare festival is nearby in Cedar City, as is the unique Tuacahn Theater in Ivins, which often previews Disney plays before they hit Broadway. The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. We booked this house for a family Christmas trip to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and other state & national parks in the area. The house is a perfect location, and the house has everything a multi-generational family needs for a get together. We were close to St. George restaurants and grocery stores, so we could eat out or cook in as we wished. Kitchen is fully equipped to prepare and serve large family meals. Dog friendly - with dog dishes too! Plenty of bathrooms & showers. Quiet neighborhood.
We would love to come back & visit in the summer!

This house is perfect for a large family…it has 3 bunk beds in one room, and 2 other rooms with queen beds. There were night lights in the kids room and all over the house, all kinds of board games and puzzles that the kids enjoyed. Super close to the pool so it was easy to walk there ever day of our stay. Clean home and great amenities. Made our Utah trip comfortable, highly recommend staying here!

We loved all the appliances and cookware available. Vehicle wouldn’t fit garage. It was a little small but the house itself was great!

We’ve stayed twice in Desert Star and we love it. It’s quiet, conveniently located, has everything we need, clean, and the pool is nice and clean. It’s heated so my kids were swimming in 50 degree weather.

The property was excellent. It was clean and well-appointed. The attached garage made loading and unloading very easy. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever encountered in a vacation rental. It is in a very convenient location with easy access to Red Cliff National Conservation area, which has incredible hiking (e.g., Red Reef trail). The pool is heated and so my kids were out there swimming even though it was in the 40s in the morning. We had a great time here and no one wanted to come home.
One note: the unit has been updated since the photos with new couches and a rug. The air hockey was also removed from the bunk bed room.

The location is so close to the freeway it was so convenient!! I loved the comfortable beds, the spacious area, and we loved using the BBQ and hot tub! Would definitely recommend staying here!

We came for a short family getaway, and had a great time. The home was in a great location - not far to shopping to fill the kitchen, or from outdoor fun. Our kids made great memories jumping off the cliffs at Sand Hollow, hiking to the low, mid AND high Emerald pools at Zion (they've been closed in past visits), and just relaxing at the house/pool. It was the perfectly situated home. Fun pool toys, fully equipped kitchen (EVERYTHING I needed for cooking was available). Thank you!

Family Getaway
We came for a short family getaway, and had a great time. The home was in a great location - not far to shopping to fill the kitchen, or from outdoor fun. Our kids made great memories jumping off the cliffs at Sand Hollow, hiking to the low, mid AND high Emerald pools at Zion (they've been closed in past visits), and just relaxing at the house/pool. It was the perfectly situated home. Fun pool toys, fully equipped kitchen (EVERYTHING I needed for cooking was available). Thank you!

Perfect location between St George and Zion National Park. Clean, quiet and so grateful to have a spot for our dog. Spent a month here to escape the gray skies and rain. Plenty of room and all of the necessities. Will be back!
