Exceptional

The easy check-in and -out. Parking space in front of the apartment. The clean and lovely decorated apartment with outside space itself. Home from home but better as modern and purpose built or purpose arranged. I also liked that there were more than 2 crockery items of everything. I've been to holiday flats for two people where you only got 2 cups, 2 glasses, 2 plates. There was a generous amount of equipment. All so tastefully arranged and decorated. The photos tell the true story. Loved it and may be back one day!

A gem of a place

Arrival and check-in was a breeze, clear communication with the hosts plus accommodating to check-in earlier. The location of the studio is in a little hamlet of houses, surrounded by fields and paddocks. The apartment is fully stocked with all the cleaning consumables you can think of, a true home from home. Loved all the personal touches and the delightful cups and mugs. There was even wine to purchase if preferred. Perfectly placed to visit Pillnitz Castle & Gardens with the wine terraces just above it. Sitting next to the Elbe River a joy. Also easy to get to the spa, either in Pirna or Bad Schandau. We even took in a magic show at the local castle known for a its links to the world of magicians. The pub opposite the castle is great and easy walking distance (just remember your phone torch as there's no street lights).

The additional city tax that you have to pay separately came as a bit of a surprise. Maybe better to incorporate this charge into the daily rate charged on booking.com. We had to scamper to get small change to pay for this on our last night. As constructive feedback we found the towels quite hard and these didn't dry quickly enough so was damp through our stay. We found the pillows were also too soft/marshmallowy. Maybe consider adding 2 firmer thicker pillows to the mix so guests can choose. We were also not clear on whether the water was complimentary or not, maybe an idea to add a note. A brilliant stay nonetheless and we hope to be back soon.

Det var en rigtig fin lejlighed, meget veludstyret og ren. Rigeligt med plads til to personer og gode opbevaringsmuligheder. Der er ikke langt til de forskellige seværdigheder. Vi synes det var rigtig dejligt med en egen terrasse, så man også kunne have “privatliv”.

Der var ikke noget at klage over.
