Villas Pura Chacala

It was clean and decent

A/C not working, people who gave care the property are not kind at all , the way to contact them was because they have cameras to see who is looking for them.

Size of the villa, big shower, walkable to town

Roosters and chacalas waking us up very early, And one bed was a trundle bed. A Hard and small bed, and for older people, hard to get off the floor.

Amenities are great such as freezer kettle and toaster Pool Is also great

The road is hard to walk on up to the hotel

Rooftop terrace had great view of jungle and beach off in the distance. Close enough to walk to town but steep hill and cobblestones so wear proper shoes. Mauna Kea restaurant for brunch was a must do. Order the green juice and hot chocolate. Complimentary fruit salad and bread to start and such a great view. Limited hours. Bathroom was small but the shower was large and the water pressure was good (no toilet roll holder). Mirrors in bedroom allows 1 person to put on makeup while the other one is shaving (in our case). Kitchen was good too. Lots of restaurants in town - beach restaurants in the day time but the town restaurants for dinner (just have to put up with possibly sitting near/on the road and lots of mud puddles as they hose the street down to cut down on the dust. But a really charming and quaint little town with everything you need. Town is about a 20 minute drive to the petroglyphs which we loved.

The neighbours dogs would not stop barking so bring earplugs (also neighbour grinding metal and roosters crowing in the day). Just hang out at the beach! :) Room 3 is on first floor with a sidewalk and road close by so not much privacy unless you keep curtains closed. We weren't in our room much so not a big deal.
