The apartment was completely amazing, the astonishing view,one minute to the beach, there is also one of the best seafood restaurant below that we visited twice. Would definitely book again in the future if I visit Agios.

Perfect location for everything on foot & you don't really need to leave Kitroplatia beach area which I believe is the best area of central Agios Nikolaos. Property pictures are totally accurate. Apartment has absolutely spectacular views any time of day ( & the sound of the water is why I booked) with tilt & turn doors/windows + mesh screen doors which means you have good air flow. Large sea facing balcony for every apartment, back balcony & drying rack, full kitchen (oven was locked off I think), under counter fridge with freezer compartment (fits a bag of ice), aircon & I was thoughtfully provided with a beach towel - there was a beach mat and parasol in the wardrobe too. There were some pantry items left by previous guests which was handy, washing up liquid & cleaning items (not always found in apartments), an information pack, some novels in different languages, tv & there was minimal noise - restaurants below added to the vibe & closed by 11pm. All the restaurants I tried in the neighbourhood were really good & competitively priced for the area & if you want something different there's an Irish bar & a Chinese/SE Asian restaurant round the corner on the street towards the lake.
Lake Voulismeni is 5mins walk (uphill 5mins more to Halkidakis supermarket) , Ammos Beach/Marina is 8mins (small Synka supermarket), roundabout area behind the lake is 8mins to main bank cash machines, taxi stand and eateries. Local free bus stops (every 30mins) less than 2mins but if you have to walk bus station is 15mins.
Absolutely perfect except for the bed. While 2 beds pushed together is the norm in Europe, there was nothing to cushion the gap & rolling into the middle meant the bed frame edges made it quite uncomfortable.

The location and views. The beach was just to the side and excellent restaurants below. A drying area at the rear was useful.
Nothing. Only problem is locating the parking at the rear as it is all one way. However we found a parking spot on the front which made access easier .
