I stayed twice, for a total of four nights, over a one week period. The staff was always extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable with a nice outlook. In the first room I stayed in, the bathroom was almost like a spa, with a gorgeous soaker tub, two sink areas, and lots of room. I wish my wife was travelling with me, but I was working in Veghel. The location also meant I was less than a ten minute walk from excellent restaurants like Hertog Jan. Highly recommended! Finally, it was very peaceful, not like some of the locations I stay in in Amsterdam and Brussels.
I struggled to understand the light switches, and never got that sorted. It would also be nice if the little bar was open later, but you can always walk across to the sister property on nordkade.

A lack of noice isolation - we’ve heard all newcomers and people walking the stairs, flushing their toilets and talking.

The location was great, breakfast was nice and the coffee was good.
The room (1) was positioned between the front door of the property as well as reception, so it was very noisy. The telephone ringing at reception was audible in the room, I was awoken by the reception staff starting their shift at 06:00 and someone thought it would be good to have music playing from 07:30. For note, room 2 is opposite room 1, so avoid these at all costs. Despite trying to control the underfloor heating, I was cold in the room.
