Location is excellent, at the end of an unmade road with very little/no passing traffic, beachfront access & not overlooked. All bed-rooms are large with en-suites & massage tables if you wish to indulge! Lovely open plan lounge & indoor dining area - furnishings are of good quality & a nod to Africa - the Italian owners have great taste. Beautiful garden with lots of outside seating areas where you can take shade from the sun. Last but by no means least, the staffing team, led by Elyson (host & chef) - his food is top-notch, simple by design but super tasty & flavoursome - he also buys all the produce for you locally so it’s fresh & you’re supporting the local businesses in the process. We loved his food so much we changed our original plans to eat out & ate in all but one night of our stay! The rest of the team, Amis, Johnson & Joseph (apologies for any spelling assumptions) maintain the property & grounds immaculately & keep you safe & sound in this beautiful oasis.
Nothing! I’ve read other reviews where guests complained about the size of the pool, but this is a private villa, not a large hotel, so what do you expect - we thought the pool was perfect for a refreshing dip or to sit & read your book in to cool off.

Lovely place, but the promise of having the whole villa to yourself is misleading. Only the bedroom was fully private—staff were almost always present in other areas like the kitchen, living room, and garden. We chose this place because we wanted full privacy; If we knew most of the living space isn't so private, a 5-star hotel would’ve made more sense. On the good side, the chef made some good meals on request, but then again, hotel restaurants would take care of that too. I'd still choose a more private apartment or a hotel next time.

Gorgeous villa with lovely furnishings, very comfortable stay, really lovely staff who made the stay so memorable, especially Elyson who also made such lovely food and helped with so much. Thanks to the all the Volandrella team …..
Only thing I found was that one of the bedrooms upstairs has a very very high bed, so I couldn’t use it, most people will find difficult I think
