We were meeting friends who were staying on site in a very nice 2 story lodge, but with my walking issues it was great to have a bungalow with no stairs. Accommodation was lovely and comfortable and well equipped. We spent the day in Tavistock before arriving, and the site location was convenient for us going back to a "do" there that evening. There is a pub and a little shop on site for basics. My friends want a longer stay next time to do some sightseeing in the area, because it is a good spot for day trips to Plymouth, Tavistock, Looe etc..
Few steps up to the front door but they were manageable. Bit hilly in places on site.

The lodge was wonderfully decorated, clean and had everything we needed. Our communication with the owner/manager was warm, clear and supportive and we loved our time on the holiday site. Highly recommended. The only slight drawback was that the pools were off-site, but a short drive away and they were huge and really great facilities so definitely worth the short trip. Kids loved it.

Nice views but very dated lodge.
Needs a bit of upkeep , weeding and paint decking.
Took clock off wall to replace batteries and there was horrendous mould of some sort behind the clock.
Also went to use swimming pool and was told we weren't allowed. We were told the owners wished (very strange) us to use a pool which was miles away in Tavern stock. Had we had children with us it would have been extremely disappointing!
It needs to be stated that you can't use outdoor pool or indoor pool!
No instructions that there were two immersions switches to be able to have hot water. One downstairs and one upstairs . Which caused us to be late for the party we were attending.
